Julianda Aritonang helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Patriot FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Julianda Aritonang hit a great ball. After 11th play minutes Ridho Kunaefi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Abraham Monginsidi and just under the crossbar into goal. 16 minutes into the game, Persirel Rejang Lebong's Arief Novitraldi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arul Julianto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 20th minute, Muchtar Kaimu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abraham Monginsidi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Muchtar Kaimu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abraham Monginsidi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ridho Kunaefi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ridho Kunaefi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abraham Monginsidi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Abraham Monginsidi was a little too slow when Bento Arwana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-1. If Muchtar Kaimu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Muchtar Kaimu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 minutes, Daniel Kartasasmita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patriot FC and the Persirel Rejang Lebong players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Kartasasmita kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ridho Kunaefi to make the kick off. If Giring Bagaskara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abraham Monginsidi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ridho Kunaefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Arul Julianto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Awaludin Yudhistira sent off a good shot on target. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Patriot FC! Arul Julianto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arief Novitraldi in the 77th minute of the match. Arief Novitraldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arul Julianto having to interfere. Abraham Monginsidi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muchtar Kaimu in the 85th minute of play. Muchtar Kaimu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Abraham Monginsidi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bento Arwana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Muchtar Kaimu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Persirel Rejang Lebong's zone, Muchtar Kaimu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abraham Monginsidi came out of the goal and Muchtar Kaimu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patriot FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
