Atang Makariem started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, PSI Bakahueni's Atang Makariem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sopian Fingkreuw made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Awan Kartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamhot Tanzier in the 10th minute of play. Atang Makariem struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sopian Fingkreuw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PSI Bakahueni. The throw-in from Ilham Dharmasakti in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Laskar Rebahan United's Berti Feryanto. 24 minutes into the match, PSI Bakahueni's goal looked a bit too open when Lamhot Tanzier came free, but Awan Kartiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Awan Kartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamhot Tanzier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sopian Fingkreuw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atang Makariem, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Atang Makariem might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sopian Fingkreuw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atang Makariem ran back to his position shaking his head. Sopian Fingkreuw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atang Makariem in the 32nd minute of the match. Sopian Fingkreuw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atang Makariem's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Atang Makariem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Budiarto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half PSI Bakahueni were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lamhot Tanzier was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Sopian Fingkreuw managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when PSI Bakahueni's Atang Makariem fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atang Makariem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sopian Fingkreuw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, PSI Bakahueni's goal looked a bit too open when Lamhot Tanzier came free, but Awan Kartiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilham Dharmasakti made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Laskar Rebahan United's Berti Feryanto. After some careless play in the PSI Bakahueni defense, Lamhot Tanzier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Awan Kartiko. The PSI Bakahueni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Awan Kartiko should have stopped the shot. Awan Kartiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawa Leonard in the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Laskar Rebahan United booed when PSI Bakahueni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusron Meringgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite being the better team, Laskar Rebahan United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
