Willy Zamzam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eza Nurdjaman having to interfere. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eza Nurdjaman. Pinilih Tecuari took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eza Nurdjaman. Eza Nurdjaman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Willy Zamzam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Fatuhau's Steven Kalangi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirun Latuconsina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willy Zamzam made a kick off. Eza Nurdjaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Zamzam, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Pinilih Tecuari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eza Nurdjaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Yanyan Sulistianto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Telawid FC and the Fatuhau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Kirun Latuconsina, was totally fooled by Fatuhau's Utha Wijasmara, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Herry Yuwana charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herry Yuwana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fatuhau's Herry Yuwana got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fatuhau's Eza Nurdjaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pinilih Tecuari in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Telawid FC had won after a very even match.
