Spectators: 10919 (Terracing: 8190, Seating: 2511, VIP seats: 218) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Don Cabezon started the match with the kick off. Zulkarnaen Mandaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Nițescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Bandung Tigers getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Haji Gille hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Haji Gille hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ardy Pakubuwono came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ardy Pakubuwono couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Bandung Tigers's Leopoldo Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dacian Nițescu. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Pires in the 24th minute of play forced Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Don Cabezon in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mekki Item saved Bandung Tigers from getting behind. Mekki Item came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon. But to his dismay, Don Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Bandung Tigers defense, Don Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mekki Item. The Bandung Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mekki Item should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zulkarnaen Mandaga to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Xiao Jie De mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandung Tigers and the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xiao Jie De kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Dacian Nițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dacian Nițescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bandung Tigers's Nistor Popilean was substituted for Leopoldo Azevedo. Xiao Jie De kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Dede Akmal replaced Ardy Pakubuwono. The audience was convinced that Dewa Warauw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mekki Item was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 75th minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dewa Warauw dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Dewa Warauw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the match Rui Prates sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dacian Nițescu skillfully saved the ball. The throw-in from Nistor Popilean in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Mauro Dos Santos. 90 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zulkarnaen Mandaga came free, but Dacian Nițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mekki Item showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dewa Warauw in the 93rd minute of the match. Dacian Nițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewa Warauw to maneuver through the defense.
