Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Van Quyen kicked off to start the match. The goalkeeper, Phùng Nga , was totally fooled by Soc Trang's Phạm Hoai, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Trần Hieu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soc Trang's Đặng Nghiêm-Minh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Nguyễn Anh Hung tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Phùng Nga saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Soc Trang getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nguyễn Anh Hung hit a great ball. A collision led to Ha Dong getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Phan Tuan Hoang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phùng Nga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Van Quyen in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nguyễn Anh Hung stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nguyễn Loc kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Phùng Nga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Anh Hung in the 52nd minute of play. Đặng Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Van Quyen in the 60th minute of the match. Phùng Nga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Anh Hung's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Ha Dong's Trần Lien got a free kick in the 68th minute. Phan Tuan Hoang took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phùng Nga . Phùng Nga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Ha Dong booed when Soc Trang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chung Chung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chung Chung got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 82nd minute, Chung Chung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Soc Trang's goalkeeper Đặng Nghiêm-Minh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trần Hieu. Nguyễn Van Quyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đặng Nghiêm-Minh having to interfere. Soc Trang walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
