Triệu Anh Hung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邱朗皓 having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Nguyễn Công Phượng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Nghiêm-Minh to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Kazimierz Osielski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 16 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Công Phượng's goalkeeper Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caitano Espinosa. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calvet Vives in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Bùi Hoa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dywizjon 303 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Nguyễn Công Phượng's Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Nguyễn Công Phượng from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Công Phượng's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Osielski came free, but Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dywizjon 303's goalkeeper 邱朗皓, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Osielski, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Calvet Vives received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh came out and tried to block the shot, but Calvet Vives slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Kazimierz Osielski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Nguyễn Công Phượng defense, Bùi Hoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh. The Nguyễn Công Phượng fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh should have stopped the shot. Bùi Hoa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Triệu Anh Hung struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. 邱朗皓 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nguyễn Công Phượng. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The supporters of Nguyễn Công Phượng booed when Dywizjon 303 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bùi Hoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Osielski in the 56th minute of the match. Bùi Hoa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Dywizjon 303 getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc hit a great ball. Dywizjon 303's Jo Grønvik suffered a concussion after 64 minutes and had to leave the field. Lê Mai's late challenge caught a Dywizjon 303's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lê Mai helped the player get up and apologised. Dywizjon 303's Nguyễn Ritchell was substituted for Jo Grønvik. After 66 played minutes Dywizjon 303 got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Osielski. 69 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Công Phượng's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Osielski came free, but Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Dywizjon 303's Calvet Vives. But to his dismay, Calvet Vives quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Lê Mai hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Kazimierz Osielski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dywizjon 303 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. If Kazimierz Osielski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Thanh charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Thanh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Nguyễn Công Phượng got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Thanh. Triệu Anh Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. 邱朗皓 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Công Phượng's goal looked a bit too open when Bùi Hoa came free, but Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nguyễn Công Phượng's Hồ Anh Hung got a free kick in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dywizjon 303 fully deserved thier win.
