After recieving a nice pass, Milton Warriors's Leon Celio tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Formby's Bineesh Soon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Formby from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khai Teo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Khai Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Formby's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
