In the 3rd minute Jonathan Sarangapani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amir Siang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amir Siang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jithu Lim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amir Siang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shafiq Lee in the 12th minute of play. Nicholas Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronn Choo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicholas Lee, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Rifqi Peng mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malvern FC and the J.P. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rifqi Peng kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ronn Choo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steven Lee in the 24th minute. In the 35th minute, Steven Lee made a precise shot to the right of Ronn Choo. Malvern FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Malvern FC's Jonathan Sarangapani in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye J.P.'s goalie prevented a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when J.P.'s Nicholas Lee in the 48th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ronn Choo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Malvern FC through an amazing save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicholas Lee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Shafiq Lee got in the 53rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Amir Siang handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Nicholas Lee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malvern FC's Shafiq Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Sarangapani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amir Siang having to interfere. With a little luck, J.P.'s Amir Siang got control of the ball when Shafiq Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronn Choo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Lee's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Ronn Choo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Lee in the 84th minute of the match. Amir Siang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Sarangapani went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Wong Dyce managed to get in a good position for a shot. J.P.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wong Dyce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronn Choo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the game, Clive Lee was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malvern FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave J.P. the free kick. Clive Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the J.P. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
