Sajeev Swee started the match with the kick off. Steven Ee hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Sheringham United's goal looked a bit too open when Aziz Teo came free, but Steven Hongyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steven Hongyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clive Seng in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sheringham United's Sajeev Swee got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Teo in the 27th minute of play forced Sheringham United's goalkeeper Steven Hongyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clive Seng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aziz Teo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Crawley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aziz Teo couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Crawley's Aziz Teo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Steven Hongyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Clive Seng charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clive Seng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Crawley got a freekick which was hit by Clive Seng. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Aziz Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crawley's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Teo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Hongyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Clive Seng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Hongyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clive Seng made a kick off. Clive Seng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Hongyi having to interfere. Aziz Teo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Steven Hongyi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Steven Ee kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Seng in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steven Hongyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Sheringham United's goalkeeper Steven Hongyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aziz Teo. In the 83rd match minute, Sheringham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Ee to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Aziz Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crawley's supporters rose to their feet, but Aziz Teo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steven Hongyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
