Asiz Seng struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Hidayat Boon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 重庆1997. Hidayat Boon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ong Tuan's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Hidayat Boon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asiz Seng, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Zafran Sim put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hidayat Boon. Zafran Sim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hidayat Boon came out and tried to block the shot, but Zafran Sim slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hebden Bridge AFC's zone, Zafran Sim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hidayat Boon came out of the goal and Zafran Sim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, 重庆1997's Zafran Sim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 32 minutes into the match, Hebden Bridge AFC's goalkeeper Hidayat Boon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zafran Sim. Asiz Seng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ong Tuan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hidayat Boon having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Asiz Seng made a great header on 重庆1997's corner, it was just that Hebden Bridge AFC's Hidayat Boon managed to reach the ball for a save. After 54 minutes of play, 重庆1997's Asiz Seng made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hidayat Boon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Ching received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hidayat Boon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ong Tuan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the 重庆1997 fans jumped to their feet. When 重庆1997's Zafran Sim in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hebden Bridge AFC's goalie prevented a goal.
