Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5222, Seating: 1555, VIP seats: 60) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexander Singh made the kick off which started today's match. Anil Tan's late challenge caught a Ross on Wye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anil Tan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Anil Tan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Ryan Tan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victor Keng, 1-0. Ryan Tan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Victor Keng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tan Soon in the 10th minute of play forced Barmby on the Marsh's goalkeeper Mohammad Boon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Shah Rajah ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohammad Boon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 17th minute, Joel Tian made a precise shot to the right of Mohammad Boon. Barmby on the Marsh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Tan got free with Victor Keng in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mohammad Boon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shah Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alexander Singh scored 1-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mohammad Boon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Ryan Tan sped through Ross on Wye's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victor Keng. In the 35th minute, Joel Tian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ross on Wye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Mohammad Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Tian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anil Tan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ryan Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Keng having to interfere.

Mohammad Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Singh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Khairul Devan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Barmby on the Marsh's goalkeeper Mohammad Boon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Tian. The Barmby on the Marsh fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Barmby on the Marsh's Ryan Tan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Ross on Wye's zone, Anil Tan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Keng came out of the goal and Anil Tan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohammad Boon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Singh in the 75th minute of play. Mohammad Boon made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Joel Tian sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Barmby on the Marsh's goal looked a bit too open when Shah Rajah came free, but Mohammad Boon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohammad Boon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khairul Devan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ross on Wye's Victor Keng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniz Devan in the 83rd minute of play. Mohammad Boon made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Joel Tian sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Barmby on the Marsh defense, Joel Tian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mohammad Boon. The Barmby on the Marsh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mohammad Boon should have stopped the shot. Ryan Tan struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Victor Keng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barmby on the Marsh. Dale Tioe hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Victor Keng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Tan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anil Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ross on Wye eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
