Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Khai Tioe kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faiz Siang got free with Jeremy Lyons in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Faiz Siang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Jeremy Lyons when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Faiz Siang scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremy Lyons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Khai Tioe took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremy Lyons. Jeremy Lyons dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 16th match minute, Moreton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louie Fleetham to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Moreton City's goalkeeper Jeremy Lyons had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faiz Siang. Max Mallaby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sean Sarangapani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy Lyons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Khai Tioe's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Malton's Khai Tioe in the 29th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jeremy Lyons was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Moreton City through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khai Tioe in the 31st minute of play forced Moreton City's goalkeeper Jeremy Lyons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Moreton City got a freekick which was hit by Tim Langdon. Louie Fleetham hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Malton's Faiz Siang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Lyons narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

54 minutes into the match, Malton's goal looked a bit too open when Max Mallaby came free, but Sean Sarangapani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Khai Tioe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jeremy Lyons was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faiz Siang in the 60th minute of play forced Moreton City's goalkeeper Jeremy Lyons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khai Tioe in the 61st minute of play forced Moreton City's goalkeeper Jeremy Lyons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faiz Siang in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. After 70 played minutes Moreton City got a freekick which was hit by Stewart Berry. Sean Sarangapani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Mallaby in the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Khai Tioe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Lyons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Lyons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khai Tioe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moreton City's goalkeeper Jeremy Lyons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Louie Fleetham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moreton City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malton the free kick. Louie Fleetham hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Sean Sarangapani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Moreton City's Jeremy Lyons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khai Tioe in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Malton had played much better football throughout.
