The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jerry Paine came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by LiverBird Flyers FC's Dong Xi Ning. But to his dismay, Dong Xi Ning quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jerry Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktürk Demir, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lowestoft's zone, Dong Xi Ning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Paine came out of the goal and Dong Xi Ning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lowestoft defense, Dong Xi Ning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerry Paine. The Lowestoft fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerry Paine should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Göktürk Demir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Dong Xi Ning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jerry Paine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes in the game Gabriel Tian did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Blas Clodio. Jerry Paine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dong Xi Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Ocaña kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half LiverBird Flyers FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dong Xi Ning to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Göktürk Demir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerry Paine. That made the score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. Jerry Paine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göktürk Demir in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Göktürk Demir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danial Tian struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jerry Paine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LiverBird Flyers FC. Dong Xi Ning's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerry Paine firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dong Xi Ning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göktürk Demir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerry Paine having to make a save. Dong Xi Ning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Paine having to interfere. Danial Tian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jerry Paine made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as LiverBird Flyers FC's Dong Xi Ning slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerry Paine. That made the score 0-6 after 77 minutes of play. Wladyslaw Fikus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anil Cheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jerry Paine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktürk Demir in the 82nd minute of the match. Jerry Paine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dong Xi Ning in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lowestoft's zone, Göktürk Demir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Paine came out of the goal and Göktürk Demir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Lowestoft's goalkeeper Jerry Paine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danial Tian. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Göktürk Demir managed to get in a good position for a shot. LiverBird Flyers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Göktürk Demir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Paine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Göktürk Demir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the game, Dong Xi Ning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Jerry Paine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LiverBird Flyers FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
