The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eltham's Jonathan Tian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Soon in the 3rd minute of play. Rifki Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noh Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Lamar Butcher took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rifki Sum to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes into the match, Eltham's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Soon came free, but Jonathan Tian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Eltham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Windlesham FC:s goal. The referee gave Windlesham FC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Faris Hian, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eltham's Jonathan Tian. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Windlesham FC's zone, Shafiq Hsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rifki Sum came out of the goal and Shafiq Hsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Windlesham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Noh Ning scored to the left of an out of position Rifki Sum, making the score, 2-1. In the 24th match minute, Windlesham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tan Peng to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Anil Au got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Windlesham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Noh Ning came free, but Rifki Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shafiq Hsi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rifki Sum firmly grabbed it by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Windlesham FC's goalkeeper Rifki Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shafiq Hsi.
