After 5 minutes Mofutya's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino Abechuco who took care of the corner kick. 12 minutes into the match, Mofutya's goal looked a bit too open when Eufrasio Flores came free, but Ernie Rabaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arcturus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Abechuco in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute Wallace Mangkay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santxo Gargante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Arcturus fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Arcturus's Eufrasio Flores looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arcturus's Eufrasio Flores got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donatello Macaraat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santxo Gargante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wallace Mangkay in the 28th minute of the match. Eufrasio Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernie Rabaca having to interfere. Oslec Caballero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ernie Rabaca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernie Rabaca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Warren Mangonon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Arcturus's Eufrasio Flores sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernie Rabaca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernie Rabaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nur Conlu in the 45th minute of play. Nur Conlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eufrasio Flores to make the kick off. Eufrasio Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Eufrasio Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernie Rabaca was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Ernie Rabaca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Mangonon in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Mofutya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arcturus:s goal. Oslec Caballero took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernie Rabaca. Ernie Rabaca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Arcturus's Leigh Canlas was substituted for Cristobal Brauner. After 77 minutes, Shaq Patao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mofutya and the Arcturus players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Shaq Patao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jennix Tizon's late challenge caught a Arcturus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jennix Tizon helped the player get up and apologised. Jennix Tizon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mofutya's Ernie Rabaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufrasio Flores in the 84th minute of play. Ernie Rabaca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eufrasio Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 98th minute of the match Arcturus got a corner. Mofutya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lino Abechuco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lino Abechuco made a great header on Arcturus's corner, it was just that Mofutya's Ernie Rabaca managed to reach the ball for a save. Ernie Rabaca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eufrasio Flores's shot from short distance in the 100th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arcturus had played much better football throughout.
