Kaberks Singson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuelo Galacio. DREAM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guy Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Datu Cabuhat during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes asdfc got a freekick which was hit by Datu Cabuhat. Peyman Tiongson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Bagongarao in the 19th minute of play. Louis Bagongarao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyman Tiongson having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in asdfc's zone, Louis Bagongarao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peyman Tiongson came out of the goal and Louis Bagongarao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Peyman Quimbo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the DREAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyman Quimbo couldn't finish the play. Louis Bagongarao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Peyman Tiongson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Macho Booth struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Peyman Tiongson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DREAM. 40 minutes into the game, Louis Bagongarao lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Peyman Tiongson. After 45 minutes of play asdfc's Datu Cabuhat was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to asdfc getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Datu Cabuhat hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Louis Bagongarao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but asdfc's Peyman Tiongson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of asdfc booed when DREAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bisdak Famador didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Elvin Nakpawan in the 55th minute really tested Manuelo Galacio's skills. If Louis Bagongarao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Bagongarao in the 76th minute of play forced asdfc's goalkeeper Peyman Tiongson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Louis Bagongarao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DREAM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
