An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Widodo Panjaitan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. PSS Kubangjero's Darius Alexander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Chaniago in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of PSS Kubangjero booed when Keshvien Tigers XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrawan Mulia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Henry Sugendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Widodo Panjaitan got free with Darius Alexander in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Widodo Panjaitans short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Darius Alexander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robbie Yarman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dian Ridliwan having to make a save. In the 14th minute Robbie Yarman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dian Ridliwan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of PSS Kubangjero booed when Keshvien Tigers XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hendrawan Mulia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dian Ridliwan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Yarman in the 19th minute of the match. Ichwan Sitepu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dian Ridliwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Tiar Guci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dian Ridliwan skillfully saved the ball. When PSS Kubangjero's Robbie Yarman in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eboy Ketaren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Firdaus Mulia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dian Ridliwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Waluyo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Waluyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PSS Kubangjero booed when Keshvien Tigers XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Waluyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Yarman to make the kick off. If Widodo Panjaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darius Alexander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Widodo Panjaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Chaniago in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Darius Alexander saved PSS Kubangjero from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Yarman in the 61st minute of play forced Keshvien Tigers XI's goalkeeper Dian Ridliwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Keshvien Tigers XI's Dian Ridliwan got control of the ball when Ichwan Sitepu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The attack was good, but when Robbie Yarman in the 68th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 69th minute, Hendrawan Mulia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Chaniago took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darius Alexander. Darius Alexander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 74 minutes, Robbie Yarman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PSS Kubangjero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robbie Yarman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keshvien Tigers XI's Dian Ridliwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Yarman in the 78th minute of play. Robbie Yarman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. PSS Kubangjero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Ichwan Sitepu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ichwan Sitepu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dian Ridliwan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Keshvien Tigers XI's goalkeeper Dian Ridliwan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eboy Ketaren. Ichwan Sitepu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dian Ridliwan firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Keshvien Tigers XI fans cheered their team off the field, for while PSS Kubangjero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
