An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Ramadhonna in the 9th minute of play forced Golden Phoenix FC's goalkeeper Rio Waluyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elie Putiray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Waluyo having to interfere. In the 14th minute, one of Remadjin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Remadjin. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Golden Phoenix FC's Reynaldo Simanungkalit got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Donnie Piliang. Joshua Ramadhonna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donnie Piliang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elie Sitepu in the 26th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Remadjin got a freekick which was hit by Sipiongot Piliang. Reynaldo Simanungkalit could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Donnie Piliang made a huge save. Elie Putiray kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Remadjin's zone, Elie Sitepu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donnie Piliang came out of the goal and Elie Sitepu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Joshua Ramadhonna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remadjin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Ramadhonna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joshua Ramadhonna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rio Waluyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Waluyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elie Putiray in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Golden Phoenix FC booed when Remadjin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Ramadhonna didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 54 played minutes Golden Phoenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Ramadhonna. Joshua Ramadhonna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Rio Waluyo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joshua Ramadhonna got free with Rio Waluyo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elie Putiray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rio Waluyo having to make a save. A collision led to Golden Phoenix FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Daus Oktavianus hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Joshua Ramadhonna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rio Waluyo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Boy Barus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donnie Piliang having to interfere. When Remadjin's Elie Putiray in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Golden Phoenix FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 82 played minutes Golden Phoenix FC got a freekick which was hit by Daus Oktavianus. In the 87th minute, Steve Prima fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Joshua Ramadhonna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Waluyo having to interfere. Golden Phoenix FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Remadjin for a fine match.
