Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gumukredjo's attentive Lelo Perangin-angin managed to snatch the ball when Yahya Piliang made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. In the 19th match minute, Gumukredjo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andra Eiboy to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Mulyana Hidayat in the 20th minute really tested Mahadi Tarigan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Robbie Sinuraya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Mahadi Tarigan made a huge save. Femi Bangun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahadi Tarigan having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Mulyana Hidayat took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mahadi Tarigan to make any attempt to save it. Yahya Piliang made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mulyana Hidayat immediately put the ball in play. Mahadi Tarigan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Femi Bangun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. Waudje's Femi Bangun got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mulyana Hidayat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Eboy Suprianto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yahya Piliang made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mulyana Hidayat immediately put the ball in play.

The wind increased when Eboy Suprianto made the kick off in the second half. Mahadi Tarigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mulyana Hidayat in the 52nd minute of the match. Mahadi Tarigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mulyana Hidayat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Waudje's Robbie Sinuraya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mahadi Tarigan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Femi Bangun in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahadi Tarigan saved Gumukredjo from getting behind. Eboy Suprianto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Joshua Ie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Waudje's zone, Eboy Suprianto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Ie came out of the goal and Eboy Suprianto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eboy Suprianto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Joshua Ie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gumukredjo's zone, Mulyana Hidayat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahadi Tarigan came out of the goal and Mulyana Hidayat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eboy Suprianto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joshua Ie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Mulyana Hidayat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahadi Tarigan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mulyana Hidayat in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahadi Tarigan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Sinuraya in the 96th minute of play forced Gumukredjo's goalkeeper Mahadi Tarigan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gumukredjo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
