The audience thought a goal was coming when 马广政 got free with 郭奕 in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 played minutes 长白虎队 got a freekick which was hit by 潘枫勇. 江弘奕 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 郭奕 having to interfere. 香港盈科棕熊足球俱乐部's 石风银 shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 49th minute of play. The shot was stopped by 郭奕 but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 马广政 made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 马广政 in the 53rd minute of play forced 长白虎队's goalkeeper 郭奕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 郭奕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 江弘奕 in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, 马广政 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When 潘枫勇 fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 长白虎队's protests and gave 潘枫勇 a yellow card for diving instead. When 江弘奕 came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the 香港盈科棕熊足球俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 江弘奕 couldn't finish the play. 郭奕 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 方博锋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the 香港盈科棕熊足球俱乐部 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
