F C Bulldogs's Gatot Macri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Beattie in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, F C Bulldogs's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Beattie came free, but Gatot Macri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Finden in the 25th minute of play forced F C Bulldogs's goalkeeper Gatot Macri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gatot Macri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marshall Finden's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Gatot Macri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Finden in the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to F C Bulldogs getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Carleton Day hit a great ball. F C Bulldogs's 魏俊云 got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryson Mcgirr was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Allen Cudmore. Bryson Mcgirr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justin Chancellor in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, 魏俊云 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justin Chancellor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Chancellor in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryson Mcgirr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keefer Gray's late challenge caught a F C Bulldogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Keefer Gray helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Weatherboard getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Keefer Gray hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Chancellor in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryson Mcgirr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The F C Bulldogs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Weatherboard's performance. The match ended with a win for Weatherboard.
