Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the match, Coledale's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Natt came free, but Malcolm Byrnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Raleigh Allan managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Russ Natt in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Byrnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes, Abraham Block made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Coledale's Malcolm Byrnes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Malcolm Byrnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Pywell in the 24th minute of play. Herbert Featon charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Featon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Herbert Featon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Bushfield's Brooks Knevett broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 32 played minutes Coledale got a freekick which was hit by Iggy Gissane. When Bushfield's Samuel Pywell in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coledale's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38thth minute of the game Samuel Pywell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coledale's Malcolm Byrnes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Bushfield's Russ Natt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malcolm Byrnes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Pywell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Russ Natt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Featon to make the kick off. Bushfield's Abraham Block got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Coledale's Malcolm Byrnes got control of the ball when Samuel Pywell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Samuel Pywell could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Malcolm Byrnes however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 60 in the game by Abraham Block from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Byrnes managed to make a qualified save. Coledale's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Russ Natt took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Malcolm Byrnes to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Bushfield's Russ Natt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Malcolm Byrnes. That made the score 0-3 after 71 minutes of play. A hard shot 74 in the game by Samuel Pywell from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Byrnes managed to make a qualified save. Coledale's players were relieved. Samuel Pywell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Pywell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 81st playminute. Malcolm Byrnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russ Natt, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. With his leg Malcolm Byrnes managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Bushfield's Russ Natt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Malcolm Byrnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russ Natt in the 93rd minute of the match. Russ Natt might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Byrnes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russ Natt ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bushfield eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
