The audience thought a goal was coming when Brant Haeberle got free with Boyd Schulzte in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brian Sennett kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Boyd Schulzte was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Byrne See capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Byrne See really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Marcus Holdsworth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brad Grieve having to interfere. Boyd Schulzte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brant Haeberle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brandon Johnson made a kick off. Brant Haeberle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyd Schulzte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Boyd Schulzte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brant Haeberle's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Barnabas Connolly kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Tooloonook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Freeman to maneuver through the defense. Tooloonook's Brant Haeberle got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Brian Sennett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tooloonook's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Sennett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boyd Schulzte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boyd Schulzte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Haeberle in the 65th minute of the match. When Brant Haeberle came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tooloonook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brant Haeberle couldn't finish the play. Brian Sennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyd Schulzte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brant Haeberle's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Boyd Schulzte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brian Sennett went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Brant Haeberle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brant Haeberle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Boyd Schulzte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Northbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Holdsworth to maneuver through the defense. If Brant Haeberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Northbrook defense, Byrne See kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyd Schulzte. The Northbrook fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyd Schulzte should have stopped the shot. Brant Haeberle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boyd Schulzte having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tooloonook had played much better football throughout.
