Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peter Ramsay started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rudolph Flisfeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hackham's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolph Flisfeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrews Mcvey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, Britton Gray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hackham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carani the free kick. A collision led to Hackham getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Britton Gray hit a great ball. If Justin Kirkham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Carani defense, Justin Kirkham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrews Mcvey. The Carani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrews Mcvey should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Hackham's Abe Andrusiow got control of the ball when Brock Conlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hackham getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Edgar Calver hit a great ball. Andrews Mcvey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolph Flisfeder, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Lowrey Fortington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolph Flisfeder in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrews Mcvey saved Carani from getting behind. Brock Conlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Peter Ramsay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justin Kirkham was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Brock Conlan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hackham's Abe Andrusiow. Abe Andrusiow was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Ramsay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Ramsay took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abe Andrusiow. Abe Andrusiow dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Abe Andrusiow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Conlan in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Peter Ramsay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abe Andrusiow was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 67th minute, Peter Ramsay made a precise shot to the right of Abe Andrusiow. Hackham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After 70 played minutes Carani got a freekick which was hit by Tiger Sugden. After 72 minutes of play, Hackham's Rudolph Flisfeder made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrews Mcvey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rudolph Flisfeder kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Peter Ramsay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carani's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Ramsay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abe Andrusiow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abe Andrusiow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Ramsay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Andrews Mcvey throw himself and got hold of the ball when Justin Kirkham in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tiger Sugden hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Rex Pegrum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hackham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carani the free kick. A collision led to Hackham getting a freekick after 87 minutes play.
