Eliot Vaughan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bud Sobczak in the 3rd minute of play. When Drew Finden fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayswater's protests and gave Drew Finden a yellow card for diving instead. Eliot Vaughan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryson Warren in the 6th minute of the match. Bryson Warren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Barney Goucher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oldin's supporters rose to their feet, but Barney Goucher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliot Vaughan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bryson Warren came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Oldin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryson Warren couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Bayswater's Peter Hinder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bishop Simpson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 30 minutes, Malcolm Hinwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayswater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Hinwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcolm Hinwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bishop Simpson having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Malcolm Hinwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayswater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Hinwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oldin's Bishop Simpson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Oldin from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Hinder to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Bayswater's Malcolm Hinwood sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bishop Simpson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bishop Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Hinder, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Malcolm Hinwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bishop Simpson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Hinder during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Peter Hinder kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Oldin's Bishop Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Notley in the 70th minute of play. If Malcolm Hinwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Oldin getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Charles Brady hit a great ball. Peter Hinder struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bishop Simpson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayswater. In the 81st minute, Barney Goucher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Hinwood in the 84th minute of play forced Oldin's goalkeeper Bishop Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcolm Hinwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bishop Simpson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malcolm Hinwood ran back to his position shaking his head. Darell Hayward kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Bayswater's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bryson Warren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Bayswater's Jenkins Pustak got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Oldin's Bryson Warren got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
