Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matthew Sperling took the kick off in the first half of the match. Malcolm Reilly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ringo Heys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ringo Heys might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Reilly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ringo Heys ran back to his position shaking his head. After 7 minutes, Jacobs Jeffress mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bower and the Collinsville players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacobs Jeffress kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Ringo Heys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Reilly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Collinsville's Berke Hess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Gavin in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ringo Heys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Malcolm Reilly was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ringo Heys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Malcolm Reilly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Earl Maddern hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bower's Darin Giles got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Bern Dearn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcolm Reilly skillfully saved the ball. If Dugald Warren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ringo Heys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Malcolm Reilly having to make a save. Pearce Gavin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Berke Hess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Sperling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Malcolm Reilly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edwin Turnbull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Berke Hess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Collinsville's goal looked a bit too open when Pearce Gavin came free, but Berke Hess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ringo Heys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edwin Turnbull came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bower fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edwin Turnbull couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pearce Gavin to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Bower's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matthew Sperling fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 61 minutes into the game, Earl Maddern was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bower's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Collinsville the free kick. Earl Maddern hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Dugald Warren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edwin Turnbull sped through Collinsville's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Berke Hess. Dugald Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Reilly having to interfere. Matthew Sperling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ringo Heys came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Malcolm Reilly could save by the left post. After 84 played minutes Bower got a freekick which was hit by Jerrard Breasley. In the 87th minute, Earl Maddern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ringo Heys's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Malcolm Reilly skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edwin Turnbull in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berke Hess saved Collinsville from getting behind. After 94 played minutes Collinsville got a freekick which was hit by Clark Mueller. Edwin Turnbull received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Berke Hess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Collinsville eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
