The Jimmy Team fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Jimmy Team's Tom Millar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davey Brennand during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Bringagee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davey Brennand to maneuver through the defense. If Tom Millar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Dacosta Mitchell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stew Dollymore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Team's Jess Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clay Askew in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Bringagee booed when Jimmy Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirk Wege didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Barnes Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Vickery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Jimmy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Davey Brennand came free, but Jess Vickery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnes Grandison in the 33rd minute of play forced Jimmy Team's goalkeeper Jess Vickery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Krause made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stew Dollymore in the 35th minute of play. Jimmy Team's Jess Vickery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clay Askew in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match David Mogork sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Krause skillfully saved the ball. Dacosta Mitchell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Krause. Bringagee's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Tom Millar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clay Askew in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jess Vickery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute of the match Bringagee got a corner. Jimmy Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabastian Fieldhouse ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bringagee's David Krause played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuck Shearn in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tom Millar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jimmy Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Millar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Krause breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jess Vickery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clay Askew in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Bringagee's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Millar came free, but David Krause reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Sperling during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Jimmy Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Sperling to maneuver through the defense. When Tom Millar came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Jimmy Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tom Millar couldn't finish the play. Marcus Sperling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tom Millar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Team's Jess Vickery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Jimmy Team from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Shearn in the 82nd minute of play forced Bringagee's goalkeeper David Krause to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cain Smee fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bringagee's protests and gave Cain Smee a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Bringagee got a freekick which was hit by Cain Smee. David Krause showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Millar in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tom Millar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Krause was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Tom Millar made a precise shot to the right of David Krause. Bringagee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 97th minute, Davey Brennand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
