After some careless play in the Red Castle SC defense, Byron Richard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Clarke. The Red Castle SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Clarke should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Aron Bowman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 37th minute of the match Edwardo Gillingwater completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edwardo Gillingwater a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Barnard Jury the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Red Castle SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Barnard Jury had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 44th minute, Barnard Jury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Smoothy, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jemmett Lander to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, The Amateurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Payne Dollymore to maneuver through the defense. When Payne Dollymore fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Amateurs's protests and gave Payne Dollymore a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Red Castle SC got a freekick which was hit by Munroe Fortington. In the 65th minute, Hale Tevelien made a precise shot to the right of Andres Clarke. Red Castle SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the referee ended the match the The Amateurs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
