Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Nagambie's zone, Curtis Williams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlisle Macumber came out of the goal and Curtis Williams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Nagambie's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Curtis Williams fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Nagambie booed when Fairylands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Waters didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Lorimer Skurrie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ray Jackson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorimer Skurrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Nagambie booed when Fairylands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrance Muggleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lewis Lord came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fairylands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lewis Lord couldn't finish the play. Lewis Lord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Carlisle Macumber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match, Lewis Lord got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlisle Macumber was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Nicholas Tearle fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagambie's protests and gave Nicholas Tearle a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Nagambie got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Tearle. After the first half Nagambie were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Smoothy to make the kick off. Lorimer Skurrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ray Jackson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Andy Smoothy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andy Smoothy struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ray Jackson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nagambie. A collision led to Nagambie getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jared Kenack hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Lewis Lord left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fairylands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Fairylands getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lawrance Muggleton hit a great ball. Andy Smoothy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Jackson having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Nagambie's Andy Smoothy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 90th minute of the match, Lorimer Skurrie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ray Jackson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lorimer Skurrie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nagambie's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorimer Skurrie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Jackson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lorimer Skurrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nagambie had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
