In the 19th minute of the match FC FC got a corner. Fairylands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allen Copelin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC FC's Allen Copelin to fire away a dangerous shot which Ray Jackson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC FC's goal looked a bit too open when Curtis Williams came free, but Kale Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dakota Rhodes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Thiele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Fairylands's protests and gave Brye Quinn a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Fairylands got a freekick which was hit by Brye Quinn. The corner ended in Allen Copelin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fairylands's Ray Jackson did a great save. James Thieles short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Ray Jackson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, Fairylands's goalkeeper Ray Jackson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by James Thiele. If Dakota Rhodes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fairylands's Ray Jackson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Copelin in the 40th minute of play. Fairylands's Ray Jackson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Fairylands from getting a goal against them. Ray Jackson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but James Thiele showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Lewis Lord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fairylands's zone, Dakota Rhodes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Jackson came out of the goal and Dakota Rhodes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joshua Hines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fairylands's Ray Jackson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dakota Rhodes in the 59th minute of play. Kale Johnson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Curtis Williams, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Curtis Williams hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dakota Rhodes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC FC's James Thiele got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dakota Rhodes in the 68th minute of play forced Fairylands's goalkeeper Ray Jackson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Fairylands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawrance Muggleton to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Fairylands's Kale Johnson threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albert Waters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dakota Rhodes in the 76th minute of play forced Fairylands's goalkeeper Ray Jackson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bob Durbin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ray Jackson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Dakota Rhodes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fairylands's Ray Jackson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If James Thiele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Dakota Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dakota Rhodes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Jackson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 90 minutes, Dakota Rhodes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dakota Rhodes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dakota Rhodes in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Jackson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Dakota Rhodes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray Jackson was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
