The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clarevaulx's Roland Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Black in the 3rd minute of play. In the 10th minute Ray Calver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Convine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Convine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brown Black in the 11th minute of the match. Kevin Macinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Lorenz Capellemans struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Berry Brady didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clarevaulx. Murphey Goodwin's late challenge caught a Landsborough's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murphey Goodwin helped the player get up and apologised. Murphey Goodwin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ray Calver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Roland Convine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Brennan Maddern mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clarevaulx and the Landsborough players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brennan Maddern hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Roland Convine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Calver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clarevaulx's Roland Convine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brown Black in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Clarevaulx's goal looked a bit too open when Jemmett Diefenbach came free, but Roland Convine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ray Calver in the 45th minute of play forced Clarevaulx's goalkeeper Roland Convine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brown Black took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Convine. Roland Convine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Landsborough were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Brown Black got free with Roland Convine in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berry Brady stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Macinnes's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Ray Calver cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roland Convine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Justin Sylvester in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Clarevaulx's Lauder Rose. Clarevaulx's Kevin Macinnes got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Clarevaulx's goalkeeper Roland Convine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brown Black. Reese Ogle kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Brown Black could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Roland Convine made a huge save. Jemmett Diefenbach received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roland Convine came out and tried to block the shot, but Jemmett Diefenbach slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Landsborough could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clarevaulx throughout the match.
