Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sidney Goiano started the match with the kick off. Sidney Goiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Thomas Triplett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute Alexander Clark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Triplett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quaama's zone, Sidney Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Triplett came out of the goal and Sidney Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ray Schoenke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Howie Muddle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ray Schoenke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brown Mcwilliam in the 17th minute of play. Sidney Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Thomas Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Goiano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Thomas Triplett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sidney Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thomas Triplett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Clark struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Thomas Triplett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunnaby. Alexander Clark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Triplett having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Bunnaby's Sidney Goiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quaama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Bunnaby's Sidney Goiano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Thomas Triplett.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brown Mcwilliam was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Quaama got a freekick which was hit by Howie Muddle. After a rather tough play, Bunnaby's Case Convine got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Case Convine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bunnaby's Sidney Goiano in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quaama's goalie prevented a goal. Quaama's Thomas Triplett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Goiano in the 72nd minute of play. Sidney Goiano spun around in front of the goal 74 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Quaama's goal. Roy Everett's late challenge caught a Bunnaby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Everett helped the player get up and apologised. Roy Everett hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, David Askew made a precise shot to the right of Ray Schoenke. Bunnaby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Byrne Bacon's late challenge caught a Bunnaby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Byrne Bacon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quaama getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Byrne Bacon hit a great ball. The supporters of Quaama booed when Bunnaby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamese Rutledge didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rick Sedgman came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Quaama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rick Sedgman couldn't finish the play. Byrne Bacon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bunnaby had won after a very even match.
