Brett Wright might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carver Stockwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a rather tough play, Landervale's Boyd Andrusiow got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Landervale's goal looked a bit too open when Bran Skittrall came free, but Richard Connolly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Landervale's Brett Wright got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Randell Will hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Carver Stockwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brett Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brown Soekirno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Carver Stockwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 54 played minutes Landervale got a freekick which was hit by Sam Quinnell. After a defensive mix-up in Donald's zone, Brown Soekirno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carver Stockwin came out of the goal and Brown Soekirno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brown Soekirno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brett Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Sam Quinnell made a precise shot to the right of Carver Stockwin. Donald's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Neale Wal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bran Skittrall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Connolly having to interfere. When Landervale's Brett Wright in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Donald's goalie prevented a goal. Brown Soekirno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Donald's goalkeeper Carver Stockwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
