The referee ignored Tayene's protests and gave Birrell Stageman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tayene getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Barnes Willison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tayene. Bart Devere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnes Willison having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Bart Devere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bart Devere struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Barnes Willison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tayene. 27 minutes into the game, Boyd Munday was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marms FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tayene the free kick. Best Renney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eavan Couzens's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Burtt Crawford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barnes Willison didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tayene's Bart Devere shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Birrell Stageman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Best Renney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eavan Couzens in the 44th minute of play. Tayene's Best Renney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eavan Couzens in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bart Devere to strike the kick off in the second half. Tayene's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Andrew Locke scored to the left of an out of position Best Renney, making the score, 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Tayene's goal looked a bit too open when Bray Murphy came free, but Best Renney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Marms FC's goal looked a bit too open when Raleigh Mccarthy came free, but Barnes Willison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Bray Murphy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Best Renney. The goal made the score 1-2. If Bray Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Long Biddell charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Long Biddell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Long Biddell kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eavan Couzens got free with Best Renney in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Burtt Crawford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tayene's supporters rose to their feet, but Burtt Crawford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barnes Willison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Burtt Crawford struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. After 95 played minutes, Marms FC's Bent Tinsley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Best Renney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marms FC reached it. Best Renney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
