When Brandes Warren fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Halifax FC's protests and gave Brandes Warren a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Halifax FC got a freekick which was hit by Brandes Warren. Munroe Balaam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match, Doyle Alves got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henry Day was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 22 minutes into the game, Bran Beverley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henry Day. Bran Beverley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Doyle Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bran Beverley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antwerp's supporters rose to their feet, but Bran Beverley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bran Beverley in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 minutes Halifax FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berke Haslett who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Berke Haslett got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henry Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bran Beverley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Bran Beverley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henry Day saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Henry Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bran Beverley, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Halifax FC's goalkeeper Henry Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Halifax FC got a freekick which was hit by Neville Fasey.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bran Beverley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Munroe Balaam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Thomas Mccarthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Munroe Balaam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Thomas Mccarthy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bran Beverley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antwerp's supporters rose to their feet, but Bran Beverley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Halifax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doyle Alves came free, but Henry Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doyle Alves struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Henry Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antwerp. If Doyle Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bran Beverley in the 97th minute of the match.
