When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Darrell Gruer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Potter Leydin to make any attempt to save it. Munroe Balaam might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Potter Leydin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Munroe Balaam ran back to his position shaking his head. Darrell Gruer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Hidden Factor F.C.'s Joseph Ziliotto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brynn Mackney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murphy Behla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brynn Mackney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murphy Behla's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Darrell Gruer managed to get in a good position for a shot. AI FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darrell Gruer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Potter Leydin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Munroe Balaam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Potter Leydin having to interfere. Joseph Ziliotto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brynn Mackney having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, AI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murphy Behla came free, but Brynn Mackney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joseph Ziliotto to make the kick off. AI FC's Robert Stockwin suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 56 minutes into the game, Dacosta Salcedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hidden Factor F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AI FC the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Hidden Factor F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacosta Salcedo to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes AI FC got a freekick which was hit by Larry Stageman. Murphy Behlas short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Brynn Mackney to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joseph Ziliotto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brynn Mackney having to interfere. After some careless play in the AI FC defense, Joseph Ziliotto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brynn Mackney. The AI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brynn Mackney should have stopped the shot. AI FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joseph Ziliotto 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Rob Royans struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Potter Leydin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AI FC. The Hidden Factor F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
