In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jimmy Pizza's goalkeeper Boris Wang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Broula's Alfred Franklin got a free kick in the 21st minute. Irving Lander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With 27 minutes on the clock, Cornelius Obrien commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Jimmy Pizza:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Broula a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Earle Blackham, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jimmy Pizza's Boris Wang. 1-1. Boris Wang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brookes Boothey in the 37th minute. A collision led to Jimmy Pizza getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Case Cootes hit a great ball. Irving Lander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsyn Quelch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Carsyn Quelch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irving Lander in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kelvin Dillon to make the kick off. Irving Lander kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 56thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Broula's keeper Carsyn Quelch was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 59th minute, Danton Holdsworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Brookes Boothey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Broula's supporters rose to their feet, but Brookes Boothey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Wang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 71 minutes into the match, Jimmy Pizza's Irving Lander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carsyn Quelch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Broula's zone, Irving Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsyn Quelch came out of the goal and Irving Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Case Cootes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Carsyn Quelch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irving Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsyn Quelch having to interfere. Kelvin Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Boris Wang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jimmy Pizza's goalkeeper Boris Wang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 minutes, Brannan Block mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Broula and the Jimmy Pizza players grew even worse after the yellow card.
