Henry Millard came out of the goal and Lance Fitzsimmons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boleslaw Ferfecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 60 played minutes Knights Templar got a freekick which was hit by Otto Callaghan. Lance Fitzsimmons was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Taz´s soccer team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 66th minute, Boleslaw Ferfecki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
