Randle Didlock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carsyn Quelch having to make a save. After having played for 84 minutes, Randle Didlock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kangaroo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Randle Didlock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brookes Boothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jervis Pincini having to interfere. The Kangaroo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
