Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl Schonke started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamese Vaughan in the 3rd minute of play forced Tigers FC's goalkeeper Berny Stebbing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tigers FC booed when Lawnswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remington Anders didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Schonke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jack Eicke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Byrne Muncaster in the 9th minute of play forced Lawnswood's goalkeeper Jack Eicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berny Stebbing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamese Vaughan in the 11th minute of the match. Lawnswood's Jack Eicke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Byrne Muncaster in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lawnswood's goalkeeper Jack Eicke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Byrne Muncaster reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jack Eicke. The goal made the score 1-0. Jack Eicke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Byrne Muncaster's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Byrne Muncaster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Eicke was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Byrne Muncaster showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Lawnswood's Jack Eicke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Lawnswood from getting a goal against them. Karl Schonke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Eicke having to interfere. Byrne Muncaster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Schonke got free with Jack Eicke in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Byrne Muncaster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jack Eicke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamese Vaughan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Schonke in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jack Eicke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamese Vaughan in the 54th minute of play forced Tigers FC's goalkeeper Berny Stebbing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berny Stebbing made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Remington Anders sent off a good shot on target. After 66 minutes of play Lawnswood's Remington Anders was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Tigers FC booed when Lawnswood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remington Anders didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Lawnswood's goal looked a bit too open when Byrne Muncaster came free, but Jack Eicke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Tigers FC's goalkeeper Berny Stebbing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fleming Willis. A collision led to Tigers FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Nathan Meyers hit a great ball. If Fleming Willis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lawnswood's goalkeeper Jack Eicke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl Schonke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Eicke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Schonke in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tigers FC's Nathan Meyers got a free kick in the 90th minute. Karl Schonke struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jack Eicke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigers FC. When Byrne Muncaster came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tigers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byrne Muncaster couldn't finish the play.
