The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bryson Newham's late challenge caught a Tarampa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bryson Newham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Bryson Newham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Tarampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abe Dollymore to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Ceney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brayden Royans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Dallas Price shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiger Mealmaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dunvegan's Tiger Mealmaker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dallas Price in the 12th minute of play. Brayden Royans was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Bishop Weatherby capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bishop Weatherby really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dallas Price fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiger Mealmaker having to interfere. Brayden Royans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bishop Weatherby, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Dunvegan's Adolfo Ceney ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brayden Royans. Brayden Royans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Tiger Mealmaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Hodgson in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Dunvegan's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Hodgson came free, but Tiger Mealmaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dunvegan getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bishop Weatherby hit a great ball. Alvin Hodgson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tarampa defense, Brynn Grieve kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brayden Royans. The Tarampa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brayden Royans should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bryson Newham to strike the kick off in the second half. Brayden Royans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryson Newham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matt Tauschke lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Hodgson got free with Tiger Mealmaker in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tarampa's Brayden Royans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bishop Weatherby in the 67th minute of play. If Bishop Weatherby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bishop Weatherby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brayden Royans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play.
