Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Drew Christian got free with Albert Simpson in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernie Butterfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryden Hitchen having to interfere. Burrowye's Albert Simpson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Burrowye from getting a goal against them. Albert Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Anderson in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Butterfield came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryden Hitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Burrowye's Marshal Isaac got a free kick in the 16th minute. With his leg Albert Simpson managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Lucaston's Drew Christian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Albert Simpson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Browne Boyce, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Browne Boyce in the 20th minute of play forced Burrowye's goalkeeper Albert Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Browne Boyce's late challenge caught a Burrowye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Browne Boyce helped the player get up and apologised. Browne Boyce hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Clark Yard notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen. Bryden Hitchen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Drew Christian's late challenge caught a Burrowye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drew Christian helped the player get up and apologised. Drew Christian hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Grant Bundy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes, Burrowye's Grant Bundy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Burrowye reached it. Lucaston's Bryden Hitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grant Bundy in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Butterfield came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Grant Bundy came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Drew Christian in the 37thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Albert Simpson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 40th minute Brant Anderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marshal Isaac got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When Drew Christian came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Lucaston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Christian couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drew Christian to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lucaston's goalkeeper Bryden Hitchen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bryden Hitchen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernie Butterfield went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Bernie Butterfield came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Burrowye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernie Butterfield couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Burrowye defense, Drew Christian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Simpson. The Burrowye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Simpson should have stopped the shot. Browne Boyce struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Albert Simpson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucaston. After a rather tough play, Burrowye's Herbert Mclatchey got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tobie Lyle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lucaston's zone, Bernie Butterfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryden Hitchen came out of the goal and Bernie Butterfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Grant Bundy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burrowye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grant Bundy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Brant Anderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Simpson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Simpson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Christian in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Lucaston's goal looked a bit too open when Bernie Butterfield came free, but Bryden Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Brant Anderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Browne Boyce in the 94th minute of play forced Burrowye's goalkeeper Albert Simpson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clark Yard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryden Hitchen came out and tried to block the shot, but Clark Yard slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 95th minute. Burrowye's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
