Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nilson Osbiston took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Nelligen got a freekick which was hit by Kris Hayman. Archie Trims made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Nilson Osbiston sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carver Saisell in the 10th minute of play forced Kundana's goalkeeper Bern Castner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bern Castner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Maciver in the 11th minute of the match. If Nilson Osbiston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earnest Alcock's late challenge caught a Kundana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Earnest Alcock helped the player get up and apologised. Earnest Alcock hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Bickford Digiuseppe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nilson Osbiston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Nilson Osbiston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kundana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nelligen the free kick. A collision led to Kundana getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nilson Osbiston hit a great ball. Bern Castner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Maciver, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Carver Saisell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nelligen's Dan Will got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Kris Hayman fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nelligen's protests and gave Kris Hayman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nelligen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Kris Hayman hit a great ball. Nilson Osbiston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Archie Trims tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nelligen's Andrew Kernick got a free kick in the 37th minute. With his leg Archie Trims managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Kundana's Nilson Osbiston fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 44th minute Carver Saisell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bern Castner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Andrew Kernick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Nelligen getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Earnest Alcock hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Kundana's Bickford Digiuseppe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Archie Trims came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kundana reached it. Albert Grieve hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Bern Castner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carver Saisell in the 56th minute. From close distance Dan Will pressed in the 0-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 60 minutes into the game. Nelligen's Archie Trims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Osbiston in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Nelligen booed when Kundana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berne Moorby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Kundana's goalkeeper Bern Castner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carver Saisell. After 73 played minutes Nelligen got a freekick which was hit by Sam Maciver. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Damon Bacon with Carver Saisell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bickford Digiuseppe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Trims having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Nelligen's goal looked a bit too open when Bickford Digiuseppe came free, but Archie Trims reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Kundana's Bickford Digiuseppe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Archie Trims was left in no man's land by his defense there! Archie Trims made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bickford Digiuseppe in the 89th minute of play. Bickford Digiuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carver Saisell came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Nelligen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carver Saisell couldn't finish the play. Nilson Osbiston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
