It was beautiful to see Pembroke FC's Alan Kepert in action when he in the 36th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 43 minutes into the game, Pembroke FC's Stan Stevens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Ramsay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Dargal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Dargal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pembroke FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murdock Maslin was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nichol Trenoweth during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
