Bern Castner made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Reginald Carragher sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Kundana's goalkeeper Bern Castner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reginald Carragher. The throw-in from Carlos Gannan in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kundana's Berne Moorby. Reginald Carragher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ike Didlick hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Lorimer Gissane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Osbiston in the 24th minute of the match. Lorimer Gissane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Grieve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Caringbah's goal looked a bit too open when Bickford Digiuseppe came free, but Lorimer Gissane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Kundana booed when Caringbah was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Navin Borserio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilson Osbiston took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorimer Gissane. Lorimer Gissane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th match minute, Kundana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Grieve to maneuver through the defense. When Nilson Osbiston came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kundana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Osbiston couldn't finish the play. If Ike Didlick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bickford Digiuseppe in the 48th minute of play forced Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nilson Osbiston made the kick off in the second half. If Nilson Osbiston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bickford Digiuseppe in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lorimer Gissane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Berne Moorby hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 55 minutes, Reginald Carragher made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kundana's Bern Castner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lorimer Gissane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bickford Digiuseppe in the 64th minute. Bickford Digiuseppe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Nilson Osbiston got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Caringbah's Lorimer Gissane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Caringbah from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginald Carragher in the 76th minute of play forced Kundana's goalkeeper Bern Castner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Caringbah's goalkeeper Lorimer Gissane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Osbiston. 84 minutes into the game, Antony Schonke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bern Castner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lorimer Gissane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Osbiston in the 88th minute. If Nilson Osbiston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Osbiston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorimer Gissane having to interfere. In the 96th minute Reginald Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bern Castner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Bruno Freeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Kundana's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kundana may have spent more time on the ball, but Caringbah were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
