The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabian Ramsay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Craig Mcmahon in the 4th minute of the match. Fabian Ramsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Mcmahon in the 6th minute of play. Craig Mcmahon might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Ramsay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Craig Mcmahon ran back to his position shaking his head. Everett Morey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murdock Maslin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Matthew Dollamore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Ramsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burtt Ceney in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Dani Shipp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everett Morey. Yielima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dani Shipp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Brandon Limmer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Everett Morey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dargal. 24 minutes into the match, Dargal's goal looked a bit too open when Craig Mcmahon came free, but Fabian Ramsay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Guter kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Fabian Ramsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Mcmahon in the 33rd minute of play. Everett Morey was a little too slow when Darell Boothey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Yielima's Everett Morey got control of the ball when Dani Shipp tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes of play, Yielima's Craig Mcmahon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Ramsay was left in no man's land by his defense there! Craig Convine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Ramsay having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Murdock Maslin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yielima's Everett Morey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murdock Maslin in the 68th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Fabian Ramsay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fabian Ramsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Mcmahon in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yielima's Hans Shortis got a free kick in the 75th minute. Fabian Ramsay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Awage in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Dargal's Murdock Maslin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everett Morey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Thanks to some nice moves Craig Convine could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Fabian Ramsay however easily saved by the left post. Fabian Ramsay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Awage in the 93rd minute of play. Craig Mcmahon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabian Ramsay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
