Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Holmgren in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Erland Kvist. In the 5th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Verhaeghen to maneuver through the defense. Kalle Askberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 6th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nereo Acosta. Erland Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ted Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Sundborn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Holmgren couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Apolinar Guijarro. The corner led Sundborn IF's Sven-Olof Stephansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 19 minutes, Alf Hansson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kalle Askberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Belo Alvarez in the 22nd minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Ted Holmgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Belo Alvarez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kalle Askberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kalle Askberg made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Belo Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. Sundborn IF's Erland Kvist got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

If Alf Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Sundborn IF's Maurino Serena threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ted Holmgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. The throw-in from Apolinar Guijarro in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sundborn IF's Henning Bennet. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurino Serena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 63 minutes into the match, Alf Hansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alf Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Erlantz Bermejo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kalle Askberg. Kalle Askberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Sundborn IF's Aqşin Aläkbärov was substituted for Jan Håning. After a defensive mix-up in A.D. Alcorcón's zone, Ted Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurino Serena came out of the goal and Ted Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Kaloyan Mitashev replaced Ted Holmgren. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Eusebio Quijana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Sven-Olof Stephansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurino Serena skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute Esteban Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalle Askberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sundborn IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
