Christian Kilstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Béla Hudák made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Sakálok's Caspar Motter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attila Mesterházy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from József Varsányi in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máté Asztalos in the 31st minute of play forced RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goalkeeper Attila Mesterházy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilogino Contaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attila Mesterházy having to interfere. Attila Mesterházy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Torres in the 38th minute of the match. Jakab Boross kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caspar Motter came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sakálok booed when RedBull Diósgyőr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kálmán Kozák didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, József Varsányi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Attila Mesterházy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, RedBull Diósgyőr FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Contaldi came free, but Attila Mesterházy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Béla Hudák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakab Boross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Sakálok were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Caspar Motter made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes in the game Dávid Barta did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to József Varsányi. In the 56th minute Anfilogino Contaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attila Mesterházy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Sakálok's Carlos Alberto Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Attila Mesterházy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Kilstedt in the 62nd minute of play forced Sakálok's goalkeeper Béla Hudák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anfilogino Contaldi got free with Attila Mesterházy in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anfilogino Contaldi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Attila Mesterházy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Attila Mesterházy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caspar Motter, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kálmán Kozák during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kálmán Kozák hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Sakálok's Ariel Bartoleme was substituted for József Varsányi. Sakálok made a substitution. Roland Csikós replaced Máté Asztalos. In the 79th match minute, RedBull Diósgyőr FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Kozák to maneuver through the defense. When Anfilogino Contaldi came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Sakálok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anfilogino Contaldi couldn't finish the play. Attila Mesterházy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caspar Motter in the 83rd minute. Máté Elek kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, RedBull Diósgyőr FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsombor Medve to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto Torres notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of RedBull Diósgyőr FC's Attila Mesterházy. Attila Mesterházy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Torres in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attila Mesterházy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakálok's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
