The referee ignored Wolves's protests and gave Alberto Fururia a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, Paulius Rožėnas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leonas Mažeika was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonas Mažeika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vytautas Baikštys in the 23rd minute of the match. Max Limont came out of the goal and Arnas Užkuraitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dovydas Aleknius in the 94th minute of play forced Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hexo Utd's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
