In the 2nd minute, Juras Tolvaiša hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Jarūnas Kuliešius could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Pavel Romanescu however easily saved by the left post. Artemio Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvīns van der Sar having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Alytus United's Lowrey Fallen got a free kick in the 10th minute. Edvīns van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Kotsovolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Alytus United's Edvīns van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Kotsovolos in the 20th minute of play. Juras Tolvaiša kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miltos Kotsovolos in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edvīns van der Sar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Artemio Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Edvīns van der Sar. FC Alytus United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting a goal against them. If Wiktor Dropinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Bilicki in the 41st minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Edvīns van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Miromir Bilicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Edvīns van der Sar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miromir Bilicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Edvīns van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Karl-Michael Bremming suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Juras Tolvaiša's late challenge caught a FC Alytus United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juras Tolvaiša helped the player get up and apologised. FC Alytus United made a substitution. Tauras Wijnaldum replaced Karl-Michael Bremming. In the 49th minute, Juras Tolvaiša hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wiktor Dropinski to strike the kick off in the second half. Edvīns van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Wiktor Dropinski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarūnas Kuliešius in the 57th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvīns van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Miromir Bilicki sent off a good shot on target. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Chamberlain in the 61st minute of play. Wiktor Dropinskis short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Edvīns van der Sar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edvīns van der Sar stood somewhat misplaced when Wiktor Dropinski came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Edvīns van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Quiroga in the 67th minute. Romualdas Motiekaitis hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. FC Alytus United's Edvīns van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Alytus United from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the game, Miltos Kotsovolos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Edvīns van der Sar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FC Pegasas Siauliai defense, Kris Chamberlain kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavel Romanescu. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Romanescu should have stopped the shot. Kris Chamberlain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pavel Romanescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. FC Alytus United were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FC Pegasas Siauliai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kris Chamberlain took the corner. The corner led FC Alytus United's Kris Chamberlain to fire away a dangerous shot which Pavel Romanescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edvīns van der Sar made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Wiktor Dropinski sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiktor Dropinski got free with Edvīns van der Sar in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavel Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Chamberlain in the 94th minute of play. When FC Pegasas Siauliai's Wiktor Dropinski in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Alytus United's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 98 in the game by Miltos Kotsovolos from a close distance when the talented Edvīns van der Sar managed to make a qualified save. FC Alytus United's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Pegasas Siauliai had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
